Seitz / Dometic Heki Skylights Guide

Formally know as Seitz the Heki Skylight family has been rebranded under the Dometic name. Available in 3 different sizes the Heki range of RV hatches are commonly found in the Australian caravan market and all include the same key features.
Mini Heki Skylight - 400mm x 400mm
The most compact in the Heki Range is the Mini Heki. This square skylight has a lightly tinted dome and internal frame which includes a retractable insect screen and block-out blind. This skylight fits into a 400mm x 400mm roof opening and can be identified by its internal frame which measure approx. 520mm x 520mm.
There are 2 styles of Mini Heki Skylights produced and they are easily identified even though they share the same internal frame.
In recent years Dometic Australia has decided to no longer offer the Heki S. While spare parts are still available here, complete units can only be found in the international market.
In regards to spare parts the most common request is for individual components like the insect screen or blind. Unfortunately these are only available in the form of the complete internal frame, we have parts diagrams available showing the breakdown of available parts.
Midi Heki Skylight - 700mm x 500mm
The Midi Heki is a rectangular skylight with double glazed dome and internal frame with integrated insect screen and block-out blind. They are available in 3 opening styles; crank, push bar and electric.
While the same hatch lid is used for all three styles most other components are model specific. The Midi Heki can be identified by its internal frame measurement of 785mm x 575mm, again we have a range of spare part diagrams for each style.
Towards the end of 2018 Dometic discontinued the classic Midi Heki and replaced it with the an updated LED Midi Heki. This model has a new look roof dome and has incorporated adjustable LED lighting into the internal frame. The dimensions have remained the same and are available with the push bar or crank opening system. The new Midi Heki LED is now an all in one lighting solution for day or night.
All installations require the new style of mounting clips which are available to suit roof thicknesses between 25mm and 60mm
Heki 2 Skylight - 960mm x 655mm
The largest in the range, it has an internal frame which measures 1000mm x 700mm. It is opened with a metal bar handle in conjunction with 2 pneumatic springs. Like its little brother it has a double glazed dome and incorporated insect screen and block-out blind.

Domestic hatch SE1590700X500040. Do you have this in stock, if so add to my order. Hatch only.

The hinges on my 12year old hatch have broken and I have not worked out a way to do a repaire. I can't find a make on the frame or acrylic dome and there are several different sizes listed on the web. The only dimension I can confirm is the clear sky opening of 540x840. The hatch is in good condition otherwise. If a half hinges repair is not available I will need to know what is the replacement dome assembly. Thanks Ian

I need to replace the hatch lid only on my Seitz skylight. The measurements of the skylight is 79cm x 57cm approx. thank you

you show every part of hatch configuration except the hinging replacement which is more relivent than any think else

Is it possible to purchase just the internal underside part of this skylight? Our frame has yellowed and the blind stained with red dust.

i have the old version midi heki(seitz), 700 x 500. The fly screens are very sloppy and dont retract properly, ive tried cleaning to no avail, any repair options or do i have to replace?

I recently brought a dometic midi heki led skylight from you,but i do not have the wireing on the caravan do you sell this wirelug seperately ,or could you let me know were i could find one.thanks.

One of the latches on my Heki 2 Hatch is faulty. Am I able to buy the locks or assembly as a spare part?
