Concealed Fixing - Suits Rear-Mounted Maygood / MobiCool CHAL Internal Window Frames

Maygood / Mobicool windows can look very similar to Dometic Seitz S4 windows, but the spare parts are not interchangeable. Before ordering blades, stays, internal frames, seals or handles, confirm the brand from the window blade or the internal blind/flyscreen clips.
For window size, use the cut-out size. On many Maygood / Mobicool windows the outside frame is about 30mm larger than the cut-out, so an outside frame around 530 x 380mm usually means a 500 x 350mm window.
The safest first check is the writing on the window blade. Look at the top right corner of the blade from outside the van. In some light the marking is hard to see, but it should identify whether the blade is Mobicool / Maygood / CHAL or Seitz / Dometic.
The second check is the internal blind and flyscreen assembly. Mobicool windows commonly use black clips or black handle parts, while older Seitz S4 parts are usually light grey. Do not order Seitz S4 parts just because the window shape looks similar.
Measure the window by the cut-out size, not the full outside frame size. If the window is still installed, measure the external frame and subtract about 30mm from the width and height to estimate the cut-out size.

If your measurement is close but not exact, check whether you are measuring the frame, cut-out, blade or internal blind. These are not always the same number.
There are several Mobicool / Maygood internal frame styles. The original style had a white flyscreen and visible mounting screw caps. Later CHAL internal frames use black screens and concealed fittings. The newer ABS style uses a thermoplastic external frame and different internal frame family.
New-style internal frames can replace many older internal frames, but the concealed fixing clips may need to be ordered separately. If the frame will not clip in evenly, stop and check the clip positions before forcing it, because forcing one side can pop the opposite side out.
For most Mobicool / Maygood windows, the flyscreen and blockout blind are not supplied separately. They are usually supplied as part of the complete internal frame. This catches a lot of people out when only the mesh, blind spring or blind material has failed.
Small handle and latch parts may be available separately. Remove broken handles carefully and work from the visible clip/latch points rather than levering hard against the frame. If a handle spring has disappeared, replacing the handle is usually cleaner than trying to source the spring alone.
If the blind or flyscreen is stiff, first check that the internal frame is square and clipped evenly. A frame that is slightly twisted can make the blind and screen hard to join, hard to separate, or difficult to raise smoothly.
Once you know the window family and size, use the Mobicool / Maygood spare-parts diagram and matching category. Choose blades by size, stays by length, and internal frames by both size and frame family.
If the external rubber seal is damaged or the blade is not sealing against the outside frame, check the CHAL window seal before replacing the whole window.
