Description

This Suburban is a 240V only water heater and has been WaterMark certified for the Australian market. The Suburban range of water heaters includes gas, 240V and gas/electric models and offers manual or 12V ignition. Manufactured in the USA featuring a steel tank with porcelain lining for an extended life and copolymer insulation jacket for superior heat retention.

These hot water systems fit under a seat or in the back of a cupboard, with a door and access from the outside of the RV.

The water inlet and outlet are at the rear, so allow some space for connections. This model is pre-fitted with a 240V plug for easy connection to a GPO in your RV.

Our Comments

Key changes from previous SW5EA model:

• Change of pressure relief valve from 850 kPa to 700 kPa (this means the unit will expel more water on a heating cycle than the older 850 kPa valve)
• Now has a pre-fitted 240V power lead to allow direct connect to the GPO in the RV
• No more external 240V switch in the service area.
• Has the door flange/frame pre-fitted from factory
