Description

RMC's Pressure and Temperature (P&T) Relief Valve is a replacement safety control for unvented Atwood water heaters. It relieves excess pressure at its 700kPa setting and opens on temperature before the water exceeds 99 °C if the normal thermostatic controls fail.

Apply PTFE tape to the male inlet thread without extending it past the thread end. Tighten using the spanner flats, not the valve body. When installed horizontally, the drain outlet must face vertically downwards. Do not seal or block the drain outlet.
