Replacement semi-tubular stainless steel rivet that secures the main rafter top bracket to the awning arm on Dometic A&E 8300, 8500, 8700 and 9000 awnings. It is identified as D2 on the 8300 diagram, B3 on the 8500/9000 diagram and 511-A on the 8700 hardware diagrams.
To install, support the rounded head against a solid backing mass, expand the hollow tail with a centre punch, then finish peening it with a hammer.
