Review of Caravans Plus Service

When it comes to selecting a bike rack there are a lot of options available but narrowing down which will work best for your setup is a simple process. With a range of mounting options you just need to decide which will give you the easiest access while not getting in the way.
We have bike racks to suit almost any setup - Towball / Car mounted, A-frame, RV Rear and Roof Racks.
Car mounted racks are a convenient option which allows you to take your bikes wherever you go, even while you're not towing your van.
The Quick Fit folding bike rack from Coast to Coast feature quick and easy fitting to almost all tow bars, and are also tiltable for easy access to car boot.
Front / A-Frame mounted bike racks are a popular choice due to ease of installation and use. The newer models feature a pivoted action which allows access to the front storage boot without removing bikes. The main limitation of this style is that you need to have enough free space on the A-frame for mounting i.e clear of gas bottles or jockey wheels. The other consideration is they will only hold 2 bikes.
Rear Mounted are the larger rack option and generally have a 2-4 bike capacity. Fiamma offer a wide range of units to suit most setups, including vehicle specific models like VW, Sprinter and Transits.
For caravans and motorhomes with a flat rear wall, there are 2 different options - the Carry Bike Pro and the Carry Bike Pro C.
These racks both have the same great features and can hold up to 4 bikes, the only difference is the mounting.
The Carry Bike Pro is designed for vehicles with no rear window, while the Pro C has a more compact design allowing it to be installed under a rear window.
Fiamma also offers bike racks to suit motorhomes with rear doors. The Carry Bike 200D is suitable for Fiat Ducato, Peugeot J5, Ford Transit, Mercedes MB 100, VW LT and more.
For Mercedes Sprinters and VW Crafters the Fiamma Carry Bike 200 DJ Sprinter is the perfect option.
Another option is a roof mounted bike rack, which could be used on either your car or camper trailers roof rack.
While mounting on your vehicles roof means you can take your bikes even when you aren't towing, lifting the bikes up and down can make this an impractical option.
Mounting on your camper roof will make accessing the bikes much easier, however they will need to removed before setting up at each stop.
The Alu Star rack is designed by Coast to Coast RV and is suitable for Coast and Jayco roof racks.

Hi, Your suggestions/guide about products are great. I would like to hear a bike rack suggestions on carrying 4 x bikes on the rear of the caravan that has fold out beds (expandas). Currently i have a spare tyre mounted on rear bar and may have to slide it over to make room. TIA
Janet
Is there a product out there to help lift an ebike up onto the back storage box on a motorhome?
