The Ampfibian RV-PLUS is owned, designed & made in Australia. This compact adaptor connects a caravan or RV's 15 A power lead to a domestic 10 A power point, with overload and fast-acting earth-leakage protection. It includes a padlock attachment point for locking the lid.
Plug the adaptor directly into the power point and connect the caravan lead to the 15 A socket inside. Any extension lead goes on the caravan side, not between the power point and the adaptor. The combined appliance load must stay within 10 A (2400 W); the adaptor does not provide a 15 A supply.
For IP55 weather protection in any position, fully seat the lid, engage both latches and ensure the cord seals close without gaps. Do not immerse the adaptor, and only connect power when it is dry inside.
Before each use, power the adaptor with nothing connected to its outlet, switch it on and press the RCD test button marked T. The switch must trip off; do not use it if this test fails or it trips with no load connected. After a successful test, connect the caravan lead and switch the adaptor back on. Reduce the appliance load before resetting an overload trip.
