Replacement black lid for Jensen MK2 roof vents, also described as Jensen New Style.
Confirm the hinge before ordering: the matching MK2 vent base has three long rolled metal sections and two short rolled sections, which mate with the lid's grooved/slotted plastic hinge spigots. Similar 14-inch Jensen, Elixir and Ventline lids are not interchangeable.
Warning - Many people select the first lid that looks similar and get it wrong. Check all styles, especially where your lid has been lost and you only have the base to identify it from.
These are easy to replace. Remove the central metal slide by unscrewing from above. This releases the hatch which can then pivot over the hinge. The metal slide is moved up or down until it can slip over the end of the winder mechanism.
Please note these lids will melt and distort if they are covered with a plastic tarp, or a caravan cover which traps heat. They are not warranted in these cases.
