Our Comments

As outlined by Enerdrive, a DC-rated fuse or DC-rated circuit breaker must be connected along the DC positive line. The recommended Fuse Protection, Cable length and Size for the Enerdrive 2000W inverters are as follows:

Cable Size: 70 mm2

Cable Length: 1.5 m or under

Fuse: 250 A

The 250 A DC over-current protective device needs to be installed within 17.8 cm from the battery positive terminals. A Disconnect Switch with the same or higher rating is also recommended.
