BMPRO Aspero Battery Management System with ASDisplay

Description

The BMPRO Aspero combines the ASPower power management system with the ASDisplay information panel for caravan and RV electrical systems. It powers connected 12V loads and charges the house battery from 240V AC mains, towing-vehicle auxiliary power and solar panels.

ASPower is also BMPRO's retrofit replacement pathway for legacy J35 power management systems, including the discontinued J35D. This Aspero package includes both the replacement power unit and ASDisplay for battery setup and monitoring. ASPower also supports JControl and JHub with ControlNode103. When using the supplied ASDisplay, pump controls P1 and P2 operate ASPower outputs 3 and 4 respectively, so pump wiring must use those designated outputs.

The ASDisplay indicates battery level, charging or discharging state, selected battery chemistry and active power sources. It can also display levels from up to four water tanks when compatible BMPRO Dipper sensors are installed and control pumps connected to the designated outputs.

The system supports lead-acid VRLA, AGM, gel and LiFePO4 batteries. It is configured for LiFePO4 by default, so the battery chemistry and capacity must be set correctly on the ASDisplay before use. Installation should follow the BMPRO manual and applicable wiring requirements. Compatible shunts, tank sensors and other monitoring accessories are sold separately.
