The ConnecT 2.0 4G2 also shares a 4G LTE mobile data connection while travelling or parked, with the capability to swap SIM cards between suitable data plans. Mobile internet depends on the selected carrier's coverage and signal conditions; uninterrupted coverage is not guaranteed.
For Australian mobile data, use an activated standard/mini-SIM with a plan suitable for a mobile hotspot, and the APN settings specified for that service. Switch the unit off before inserting or changing the SIM. Australia's 3G networks closed in 2024, so mobile internet now requires usable 4G coverage rather than relying on 3G fallback.
