This Whitco safety lock is supplied as a replacement for older Panorama MKII and Seabreeze caravan door locks. Its handles and locking mechanism can be turned to suit left- or right-hand doors, whether they open inward or outward.
The lock is designed for a standard 20 mm door thickness. On thicker or older caravan doors, including some Viscount applications, the original square shafts may need to be reused to obtain the required reach, and fitting modifications may be needed. Keep the old lock available for donor parts until the replacement is fitted.
