This compact 12V omnidirectional antenna is designed to deliver reliable TV reception while travelling. It receives both VHF and UHF free-to-air broadcasts, with reception dependent on local signals, terrain and obstructions. The built-in 20dB amplifier enhances signal strength and is matched to 75Ohm for efficient transmission. Its low-profile design, standing at 237.5mm in height, minimises wind resistance while travelling. Housed in a weather-resistant casing, this antenna is well-suited to withstand outdoor conditions, making it an ideal solution for caravans and motorhomes.
The included 5-metre RG-6 coaxial cable connects the antenna to the 12V power plate. A separate TV lead is required (not supplied), with an F-type male plug at the plate end.
Mount on a flat roof section and seal the mounting screws and flange edge in addition to using the supplied gasket. Do not fit splitters or couplers between the antenna and power plate: this cable also carries amplifier power.
Service was A+ as arrived promptly and Qs I asked on installation of door hinges was very well explained More than helpful and I would definitely recommend them to anyone traveling and in need of specific parts and not close to a caravan repair services especially with the price of fuel …if unsure just ask!!!
