This bent 12V 175W heating element suits Dometic / Electrolux RM2355, RM2453, RM2455, RM2456 and RM2553 fridges. It supplies heat to the absorption cooling unit during 12V DC operation; it is not the separate 240V mains element.
Select the replacement using the fridge's model and serial-specific parts diagram, not voltage, wattage and diameter alone. Dometic's RM2455 parts list specifies this element from serial number 92600001 and lists a different 12V 175W element for earlier production.
