The Fiamma Vent 40 is a manually opened, non-powered roof vent with an opaque white lid. It includes an internal mosquito screen and provides 80 cm² of permanent ventilation.
Fiamma specifies a 390 x 390 mm roof opening and a standard roof thickness of 30-50 mm. The vent can be adapted to some approximately 360 mm square openings by trimming hidden moulded edges, so it is not a direct-fit 14-inch replacement without modification. The optional extension kit is used for roof thicknesses from 51-85 mm.
While quoted as suiting 400 x 400 openings it is possible to trim some hidden edges to get it to fit a 360 mm hole; however there is some work involved and this is only suggested where a ventilated vent is required.
