Description

The Eberspacher Airtronic S2 bridges the gap between their European flagship S3 heater and more economical competing brands. The major difference between S2 and S3 (besides price) is an altitude limit of 3,000 m vs 5,000 m. With Mount Kosciuszko summit reaching 2,228 m this reduction is not a limitation and is a great value alternative for the Australian market. Coming in at 200 g heavier and consuming a mere 0.01 L/h more fuel the S2 is still built to the same high standards with a brushless motor for extended service life, quiet operation and sleek LCD controller.

The Eberspacher AS2 can be used in campervans, caravans or camper trailers with the optional 10 litre diesel fuel tank, or by getting fuel direct from the vehicle fuel tank in diesel-operated motorhomes.

Please note all diesel air heaters need to be run at a high power setting for around 15 min every 4–5 hours to prevent carbon build-up. If this is not done and the heater fails due to carbon build-up this is not covered by warranty.
