The Gator Jack is a 12V electric trailer jack for raising and lowering the front of a caravan or trailer during hitching, unhitching and levelling. Push-button controls replace manual winding, with a built-in level and LED light to assist setup. Its 1800kg capacity applies to the vertical load supported by the jack, not the total weight of the trailer.
The approximately 700mm adjustment range combines powered extension with manual drop-leg adjustment; it is not 700mm of electric travel. The supplied mounting clamp suits 3, 4, 5 and 6 inch chassis heights. The jack can be rotated within the clamp before tightening to position the controls clear of nearby components; this is mounting orientation, not a swing-away mechanism.
The pre-wired Anderson plug and 1.3m lead provide the power connection, while the supplied manual crank allows operation when electrical power is unavailable. A flat foot plate is included; the wheel attachment and fixed wiring kit are sold separately.
Mounting position determines ground clearance and usable height, as shown in the height-range diagrams. Keep the Anderson plug connection outside the gas-bottle exclusion zone and leave the handbrake cable unobstructed by the mounting bracket.
