Description

The Black Jack Maxi is a 12 V electric A-frame jack for raising and lowering your caravan or trailer coupling when hitching, unhitching and levelling front to back. Remote-control operation lets you adjust the jack without standing at its switch, while the efficient ball bearing worm drive provides smooth, quiet lifting. The Intelli-Brake automatic stop cuts motor power at full extension or retraction.

This kit connects through the jack's pre-wired Anderson plug lead to an existing suitable 12 V supply. The separate 5 m battery wiring harness is not included; choose the harness-inclusive kit if you need that battery connection.

The 2,000 kg jack rating refers to the load supported at the trailer coupling, not the trailer's total weight. The supplied folding foot and soft-ground foot pad are each rated to 1,000 kg; that lower limit applies whenever either accessory is used.

Mount the Maxi using its supplied Black Jack bracket, not a standard 50 mm jockey-wheel clamp. The folding foot needs clear travel throughout deployment and retraction: contact with the chassis, cables or bracket can damage the jack. Use the supplied adjustable foot instead if full clearance is unavailable.

For manual operation after a power loss, fit and firmly hold the crank handle before releasing the brake. Otherwise the loaded jack can lower and spin the handle. Re-lock the brake after use.
