Black centre cradle support for Carefree and Dometic A&E roll-out awnings. Mounts on the side of your caravan/motorhome to support the centre of the roller when the awning is rolled up, reducing sag and bounce during travel. It is not a support for the extended awning. Not required for smaller awnings but recommended for 16ft and longer.
The cradle support rotates open and closed automatically as the awning opens or closes.
The supplied splay-type pop rivets secure the backing plate to the wall; screws secure the support bracket through the plate into the wall. Position the cradle against the rolled-up awning without forcing the roller upwards, which can interfere with operation and damage components.
