Description

ALKO's Premium range of jockey wheels is designed for general-purpose caravan and trailer applications. This standard-height model has a 200 mm solid tyre, with the larger wheel suited to manoeuvring on soft or uneven ground.

The zinc-plated 48 mm diameter tube has three clamping positions. A mounting clamp is not included.

Our Comments

Important - Jockey wheels are not designed to be used to manoeuvre in their extended position. The strength of the shaft is greatly reduced in the extended position and it is likely to bend or break during movement. The correct method is to lower as far as possible without preventing the wheel from pivoting before moving. Lowering the jockey wheel will make it safer and easier to manoeuvre.
