ALKO wind down legs have a solid hex nut for positive connection of winder (not included). These will extend 500mm vertically so will give an adequate range on most standard clearance caravans/trailers.

Replacements - If the top section is welded to your chassis, it is possible to separate the two sections and fit the newer half, but it is generally easier to cut off and weld on.
