The Thule Omnistor 4200 is a manual wall-mounted awning, crafted as a lightweight and modern upgrade to the previous 4900 model. Designed specifically for compact vans and motorhomes, it combines practicality with an updated look, integrating seamlessly onto the vehicle with purpose-built end cap designs. Shorter models (2.6m to 3m) are tailored for compact vans using a distinctive automotive-style end cap, while longer versions use a standard end cap ideal for motorhomes.
Available in a choice of white or black casing and finished in a durable Mystic Grey fabric, the 4200 series comes in lengths ranging from 2.6m to 4.5m. The lightweight yet sturdy design incorporates a smaller roller tube that enhances fabric tension while keeping the overall weight down - just 21.7kg for the 3.5m version - making it one of the lightest awnings in its class. Its single-sheet canopy with welded seams offers dependable waterproofing and helps to avoid fabric sagging during use.
The oval support legs drop vertically from the lead rail, reducing the risk of scratching the vehicle when extending the awning. Additional features include a telescopic hand crank for easy operation, a built-in drainage system, and support for accessories like smart panels and tent kits. For larger awnings (4.00m and 4.50m), the Thule Tension Rafter G2 is included as standard. This awning is also compatible with the Thule QuickFit and EasyLink systems and comes with a mounting kit, making installation straightforward.
