Dometic VT2500 spring cartridge. This is part 8 shown on the parts diagram for the VT2500, called boss, pedal and also known as a spring unit. Also suits the Traveller toilet models TR2011, TR2010 and 511.
Warning One of the reasons people need to replace this part is because they dismantle it by undoing the two screws. Do not undo them — you will not be able to re-screw them.
