This internal frame with integrated LED lighting is designed specifically for the push-bar version of the Dometic Midi Heki FL Skylight, offering a refined, modern upgrade that enhances both lighting and usability. It includes a pre-fitted blockout blind and flyscreen for adjustable light control, privacy, and ventilation.
The FL version represents the latest update in the Midi Heki internal frame range. It features a cleaner design with sharper contours and updated interior fabric to better match contemporary RV interiors. Unlike the earlier LED version, the FL frame no longer includes a built-in switch or blue night light - instead, it operates via an external switch only. This change allows for greater installation flexibility and a sleeker ceiling finish, particularly beneficial in new builds or professional retrofits.
The FL version can be used to replace the earlier STD LED Midi internal frame but will require the addition of an external switch. It can also be retrofitted to older non-LED Midi Heki units, provided a 12V power supply is available if you wish to use the integrated LED lighting. The 12V connection is only required to operate the lights - if no power is connected, the blind and flyscreen will still function normally.
