Description

Genuine Hayman Reese electronic control unit 1 (ECU 1) to suit SmartClick wiring systems.

Many vehicles are not designed to allow electrical towing equipment to be directly connected to rear lighting circuits. In these cases a trailer ECU is used to overcome the problems associated with connecting trailer circuits to a vehicle.

Select ECU 1 where the instructions for the vehicle and fitted SmartClick loom specify it. Match the vehicle model, build date and variant as well as the loom: the SmartClick name or a matching connector alone does not establish that another ECU number is a suitable substitute.
