Description

Experience endless hot water supply with the Girard tankless RV water heater. Easy to install and operate, this lightweight heater fits into any standard water heater opening such as the Suburban HWS. Its onboard microprocessor monitors incoming and outgoing water temperatures and water flow, then adjusts the gas burner to help maintain the selected hot water temperature. The hinged door and silicone exhaust ring make it user-friendly and easy to maintain.

An indoor wall-mounted digital controller allows temperature adjustments from 35 to 51°C and features visual diagnostics for troubleshooting. Designed specifically for mobile lifestyles, it consumes around half the LPG of standard 23-litre storage tank water heaters.

The temperature rise depends on the hot-water flow rate. With colder incoming water, you may need to reduce hot-water flow to reach the selected temperature; increasing the controller setting alone cannot overcome the heater's heating capacity. Flow can be adjusted manually at the hot tap or the water-control valve on the rear of the heater, while maintaining sufficient flow for the burner to operate.

Our Comments

As with all instant hot water systems, low ambient water temperatures will affect the output temperature. It is important to take the temperature rise rate into account if you travel to cold climate areas.
