Description

A favourite among van builders, 4WD tourers, and traditional caravanners alike, the Duoetto MK2 delivers hot water without gas plumbing. This 10L electric storage water heater runs on 12V DC or 240V AC, making it suitable for both off-grid installations and powered sites without gas bottles or regulators.

Its compact design suits campervan conversions, canopy builds, caravans and remote cabins. The Duoetto MK2 automatically gives 240V mains power priority over 12V heating; the two heating modes do not operate together. If 12V heating does not resume when returning to battery operation, unplug the 240V lead from the power point.

The front thermostat knob sets the 240V temperature, while the digital controls set the 12V temperature. A separately available remote panel provides convenient 12V temperature adjustment when the heater is installed in a hard-to-reach position; it does not replace the 240V thermostat or switch the heater on and off.

Built with a robust SPCC steel tank, enamel lining, and polyurethane insulation, it's engineered for thermal efficiency and long-term performance. Safety features include over-temperature and run-dry protection. Fill the tank and establish water flow from the hot outlet before applying power: heating an empty tank can cause permanent damage.
