The Dometic Folding Step is lightweight and sturdy, constructed from heavy-duty aluminium. It provides safe and convenient entry and exit from caravans and motorhomes with a high load capacity of 225kg.
This compact step can be easily folded away when travelling and is simple to install by bolting to the chassis.
We have deliberated over how to measure this step in the past. The fact of the matter is the unit is a very difficult step to measure as far as steps go.
The angles are such that nothing is straight or constant due to the design. We would need to measure clearance points at each 50 mm. This is not something we have had to do for any other step we have catalogued.
For this reason we have catalogued the above measurements (some in thumbnail images) to avoid any technicalities which we tend to be caught with.
If your project cannot fit within these restrictions, or might be tight, we would not recommend them as an option.
