This kit converts original DRS units to the improved design found in the DRS2. It includes a replacement ceiling flange, cover and blocking plate with insect filter, as well as a ventilation frame to replace the older internal foam filter.
Blocker plate use: Remove the blocker plate before travelling; dust reduction will not function with it fitted. When fitted while stationary, it blocks the main filtered air path, but cross-flow ventilation remains through the secondary passive air path — it does not fully seal the unit. See the Dometic DRS2 operating instructions (page 11).
