Description
The Cool-J RTN-135HP-VDC1 is a reverse-cycle rooftop air conditioner designed to run directly from a 48V DC battery system, without supplying the unit through a separate 240V inverter. Its variable-speed compressor provides rated 3.5kW cooling and 3.4kW heat-pump heating for off-grid caravans and RVs.
It is supplied with a low-profile indoor air distribution box, remote control, multicolour ceiling light and WiFi app control. Installation uses a 400 x 400mm roof opening and suits roof thicknesses from 26 to 120mm; thicker roofs require an additional duct connection.

The Cool-J 48VDC air conditioner is not directly compatible with 240 V AC power. It is designed exclusively for 48 V DC systems and must be powered within a voltage range of 38V to 56V DC.
