This Clixon thermal switch is an over-temperature safety cut-out used in selected Dometic absorption fridges (including RM4605, RM4805 and RUA series models). It interrupts power if an unsafe temperature is reached.
Once the temperature returns to a safe level, the switch restores power so the fridge can resume normal operation.
After getting home from a recent trip we needed to replace a window on our van. I found the one we needed on caravans plus at a reasonable price.
