Tow ball weight scales are the easiest way to confirm you have not overloaded or incorrectly packed your caravan. Unevenly packing your caravan can have a large effect on the weight distribution of your van and greatly affect its handling. A correctly loaded caravan should have about 10% of its weight distributed to the tow ball. Being able to easily measure ball weight and correct your load if required greatly reduces the chance of unwanted trailer sway.
