Brake hub drum - Ford (slimline), suits 250 mm ALKO electric brake assembly.
Price is for one side only.
They fit either left or right.
The Ford wheel pattern does not determine the bearing type. This hub drum accepts either Slimline (Ford) or standard LM (Holden) bearings with the matching cups and seal for the axle's machined journals. When changing bearing type, fit the corresponding cups as well as the bearing cones; do not mix LM and Slimline components.
The brake assembly is a separate item. When replacing a drum on AL-KO electric brakes, AL-KO recommends fitting a new brake magnet at the same time.
These brake drums come with studs, but no nuts, seals, bearings or grease cap. Please see bearing kits and nuts below as optional products.
Ensure they match your required stud pattern and the brake assembly, which is a separate item.
40 mm axles and stubs use standard bearings, while 45 mm axles (heavy duty/offroad) use slimline bearings (sometimes called Ford bearings).
Standard bearings are supplied with most hub drums, except Landcruiser, Land Rover and F100, which are supplied with slimline.
