The Whale AquaSource is a disposable silverised carbon filter fitted into the cold-water pipework, usually under the sink, to reduce unpleasant tastes and odours from your onboard water supply. Replace the complete filter when it reaches its service limit.
This is not a bacterial filter. It must not be used with water supplies of unknown bacterial quality.
Install with water flowing in the direction of the arrow on the filter. Before use, flush out the loose black carbon particles until the water runs clear. Flushing can use a substantial amount of water, so Whale recommends flushing at a fresh-water tap before installation rather than using your onboard supply.
