Introducing the new Sphere High Voltage Twin Cell Solar Panels, designed for efficient and cost-effective solar power solutions. These panels can produce up to 48.2 V open-circuit voltage (Voc), reducing voltage drops and offering a flexible, budget-friendly option for RV solar systems.
Sphere High Voltage panels enable the addition of more panels per string without exceeding the down cable's maximum current rating, allowing the use of thinner gauge wire over longer distances without losing power or efficiency. This results in significant installation cost savings.
Upgrading to multi-panel configurations in existing RV solar systems is easy and cost-effective with Sphere High Voltage panels, which require an MPPT-style solar charger to charge a 12 V DC battery bank correctly. For panels connected in series, the MPPT charger's PV input limit must accommodate their combined open-circuit voltage, including its increase in cold conditions.
These panels are ideal for tackling partial shading issues with their unique twin cell design, ensuring consistent power output even when partially shaded.
