Description
The Seaflo SFWV1-01 is a compact waterless waste valve for 1 1/2 inch caravan and RV drain plumbing. Its self-sealing membrane helps stop drain odours and gases travelling back from the waste system without relying on the standing water used by a conventional P-trap.
The valve may be mounted vertically or horizontally. Install it with the moulded flow arrow pointing downstream. For horizontal installations, SEAFLO specifies an 87.5-degree elbow to avoid standing water in the tube but does not state a minimum pipe gradient. Any rotational position is acceptable when horizontal, although the marked position with the ribs at the bottom is suggested. The waste tank must be vented downstream of the valve.
