Description

This is a remote battery temperature sensor lead to suit Enerdrive EN435xx series MPPT solar controllers (EN43510 / EN43520 / EN43530 / EN43540). It connects to the RTS (remote temperature sensor) port on the controller and allows the controller to measure battery temperature for temperature compensated charging.

Enerdrive recommends using a remote temperature sensor when the batteries being charged are located in a different position to the solar controller. If no remote temperature sensor is connected, the controller uses a default battery temperature setting of 25 °C (no temperature compensation).
