Quell Photoelectric Smoke Alarm 9V Battery

Description

9V battery-powered smoke alarm with photoelectric sensor. It includes a hush function to silence nuisance alarms, a test button to check operation, and clear LED status indicators. The unit is Australian Standards compliant and ships with a 9V battery for immediate install.

This model uses a replaceable battery, not a sealed 10-year battery. Replace the battery annually, or sooner if the low-battery warning sounds. The alarm itself has a 10-year service life.

Allow at least 3m between the alarm and cooking appliances. For ceiling mounting, position it at least 300mm from a side wall. Quell's manual also covers wall mounting and mobile-home placement. For caravan use, test after storage, before each trip and weekly while in use.
