The John Guest External Tap Kit adds an outside water outlet to a caravan or RV with 12mm outside-diameter water lines. The supplied tee branches the water line to the tap, while the reducer connects the 12mm tubing to the 15mm wing-back fitting.
Depressurise the water system before opening the existing line. Cut the tube square, remove burrs and fit a tube support before pushing each tube end fully past the gripper and O-ring to the internal stop. Pull back to check the connection is secure, then test the system for leaks before use.
