A compact selection of John Guest push-fit fittings, tubing and a tube cutter for repairing 12mm outside-diameter water lines in caravans and RVs. Keep it on board for replacing damaged fittings or sections of tube.
Depressurise the water system before disconnecting fittings. Cut the tube square, remove burrs and use an undamaged tube end with a tube support fitted. Push the tube fully past the gripper and O-ring to the internal stop: a partly inserted tube can be gripped without being sealed. Pull back to check it is secure, then test the repaired system for leaks before use.
