A 12V emergency breakaway power system for trailers using electric-over-hydraulic brakes. If the trailer separates from the tow vehicle, removal of the pull pin supplies the EOH brake actuator from the integrated 10Ah battery so the trailer brakes can operate.
This Breakaway Install Charge package adds installation hardware and a BMPRO BatteryCharge4 mains charger, allowing the breakaway battery to be charged from 240V while the trailer is parked as well as maintained from a suitable 12V tow-vehicle charging circuit.
