The Enerdrive Voltage Sensitive Relay (VSR) is a smart battery separator designed for dual battery systems typically found in caravans, boats, and campers. Using a microprocessor-controlled switch, this unit ensures that the auxiliary battery receives charge only when the primary battery has reached a sufficient voltage, thereby preserving the starting battery for engine ignition. When the voltage of the primary battery rises to 13.2V (or 26.4V for 24V systems) and remains stable for 7 seconds, the relay activates, connecting the batteries and allowing simultaneous charging. Once the voltage drops to 12.8V (or 25.6V), it disconnects after 60 seconds to prioritise starter battery preservation.
Additionally, the VSR can operate as a voltage-dependent switch, supplying power to connected equipment only when the engine is running. The unit also features bipolar switching, which allows charging of the starter battery from an external charger connected to the auxiliary battery - especially useful during extended stationary periods. For emergency engine starts, a start help connection is included, enabling support from the auxiliary battery. This unit also offers protection from overvoltage scenarios, disconnecting to shield connected accessories from potential damage.
Designed to auto-detect 12V or 24V systems, it provides flexibility and dependable performance in multi-battery setups. Its efficient and automated management ensures both batteries are optimally maintained, enhancing reliability for off-grid adventures or mobile living.

Bought a replacement fridge part The process was really easy from search to buy to putting it in great work
Nothing wrong with the product, but the postage was an issue. I ordered express postage as i needed the item by the weekend, and was told by sending it by express post it would arrive on the Friday. Having paid for this, i then received notification it wouldnt arrive until Tuesday the week after, so really the express option was useless. The item was expensive anyway and very small, so why was postage so dear?
