The ePOWER 2000W Inverter with AC Transfer & Safety Switch is one in a family of affordable, high quality, professional level inverters by Enerdrive. By using the latest power conversion technology, ePOWER inverters deliver clean and energy efficient true sine wave AC power from your DC supply.

This ePOWER Inverter incorporates a 16 A AC Transfer Switch which allows for seamless AC power transfer between mains/generator and inverter. This helps to keep your appliances running with almost no break time on AC transfer and allows for a much simpler installation on board.

Also included in the unit is an RCD safety switch. This switch monitors the flow of electricity through the inverter and detects any problems that may pose a risk to personal safety and switches the output power off within 0.03 seconds.

The ePOWER 2000W is built to operate basic equipment such as power tools, computers, microwave ovens, televisions and other appliances that use up to 2000 W of power for operation.

ePOWER Enerdrive inverters with AC transfer switch now include the new PS6 mode.

Now included with all AC transfer switch inverters is a 4 metre AC lead with molded male/female IEC plugs fitted. This allows the installer to cut the lead and hardwire the IEC plugs directly. This will speed up installation time and eliminate any connection issues within the plug.

As outlined by Enerdrive a DC rated fuse or DC rated circuit breaker must be connected along the DC positive line. The recommended fuse protection, cable length and size for the Enerdrive 2000W inverters are as follows:

Cable Size: 70 mm2

Cable Length: 1.5 m or under

Fuse: 250 A

The 250 A DC over-current protective device needs to be installed within 17.8 cm from the battery positive terminals. A disconnect switch with the same or higher rating is also recommended.
