Description

When plenty of fridge space is high on the wish list, the Dometic RUC8508X gives you the largest capacity in the RUC range. Its 216 litre two-door cabinet combines a roomy 170 litre refrigerator with a separate 46 litre freezer, giving families and longer-term travellers more freedom when planning meals and stocking up.

Both doors open from either side without needing to change the hinges, a genuinely useful feature in a busy caravan or motorhome kitchen. The colour TFT display and rotary control provide Performance, Quiet, Eco and Turbo modes. It operates from 12V or 24V DC and 100-240V AC, with automatic changeover from DC to AC when mains power is available. Its T-rated cooling system is intended for ambient temperatures from 16°C to 43°C.

Choose the RUC8508X over the 216 litre RUC8404X Core when you want dual-side door access, built-in AC operation and the colour TFT control. The fridge is supplied with its drain hose, bottom trim piece and sealing strip; ventilation grilles or kits, vehicle wiring and other installation components are separate. The freezer compartment is intended for pre-frozen food, ice cream and ice cubes rather than freezing previously unfrozen food.
