The Dometic RUC8404X Core gives you the largest storage capacity in the value-focused RU Core range. Its 216 litre two-door cabinet combines a roomy 170 litre refrigerator with a separate 46 litre freezer, giving families and longer-term travellers plenty of space for fresh food, frozen meals and cold drinks.
Straightforward LED soft-touch controls keep day-to-day operation simple, while Performance, Quiet, Eco and Turbo modes let you adjust how the fridge runs. Fan-assisted air circulation helps distribute cold air and recover the set temperature after the refrigerator door has been opened.
This Core model runs from 12V or 24V DC only. Choose it when maximum storage and value matter more than the full RUC8508X model's built-in AC input, colour TFT rotary control and doors that open from either side.
The doors can be set up to open from the left or right during installation, but they do not open from both sides in everyday use. The required cabinet height depends on whether the fridge uses external rear or roof venting, internal ventilation or top ventilation. Ventilation grilles or kits, any AC adaptor and vehicle wiring are separate; a drain hose, bottom trim piece and sealing strip are supplied with the fridge.
