CMS products provide a DIY 240V wiring solution for your RV. The 10A power outlet fits the DIY 240V CMS cables.
This would typically be the last outlet in a circuit as it does not provide a second connection at the rear. It incorporates an automatic switch that will cut off current (double-pole) when an appliance is removed from the socket.
The screw holes are 63 mm apart horizontally and 83 mm apart vertically. You require 60 mm from the outside mounting face to the rear of the inlet to accommodate it fully within a wall. For thinner walls it will extend into the cabin, or needs a homemade backing plate added to the outside. Backing plates are not available for this item.
