This standard brass tap adaptor is designed to fit the two most common tap sizes in Australia, making it a practical addition for caravan travellers needing a reliable connection to water supplies. The threaded female end fits 19mm (¾ inch) and 25mm (1 inch) BSP taps, and thanks to the built-in rubber washers, it forms a tight seal without the need for thread tape. On the other side, the 12mm (½ inch) male click-on fitting is compatible with all Flat Out drinking water hoses and a wide range of other brands' female hose fittings.
It's a small but essential part of your water setup that often gets left behind during packing. Many users report accidentally leaving it attached to the tap, especially if they're used to disconnecting the hose and forgetting the adaptor. Keeping a spare may save you trouble on the road.
