Maxxair grew out of the US RV ventilation aftermarket in 1989, building its name around roof vent covers and the MaxxFan idea: keep air moving through a van or caravan without letting weather straight in.
It is now part of Airxcel, a long-running RV component group, but the appeal is still practical. In Australian touring, roof vents, 12V exhaust fans and skylights cop heat, UV, rain and road vibration, so small parts can matter as much as the complete hatch.
