The plastic cover is easily removed for cleaning by prizing the side near the catches. You never need to do any maintenance on this light with its long lasting but low power usage LED's.
***WARNING - These must be connected positive to positive, and negative to negative Warranty is void for reverse polarity, check wires with a multimeter before connection. Red is Positive.

Doesn't just slide into the track, have to push it in. The way the rubber sits leaves so a many gaps around the edging. Would not recommend
