Technical and Operational Overview

Intended Use

The Truma VarioHeat eco AU is a liquefied gas heater designed exclusively for installation in recreational vehicles (RVs) to provide warm-air heating. RVs include vehicles equipped for temporary living quarters for recreation, camping, or travel use, which have their own power or are towed.

Prohibited Use

• Marine environments

• Food trucks or roadside vending
• Construction trailers
• Pool heating

Safety Instructions

• Read the instruction booklet before operation.
• Do not place items on or against the heater.
• Avoid using aerosols near the operating appliance.
• Modifications to the appliance are not allowed.
• Store flammable materials away from the appliance.
• In case of gas smell: extinguish flames, open windows, close gas valves, and do not use electrical switches.

Installation and Repair

Operation While in Motion

Operating Instructions

Start-Up

1. Remove the cowl cover.
2. Open the gas cylinder and quick-acting valve.
